its a cable with a USB connector on one end, and a DC jack on the other.

your best bet would be searching by connectors, if monoprice can do that.

EDIT: and make darn sure that you dont buy one with the wrong DC jack, some are amazingly close visually but wont make propper electrical connection.

-snip-

I tried monoprice and that cable also didn't come up there, DC to USB cable is fairly uncommon, you'd be better looking at Amazon instead.

That is a DC Barrel-style power connector, wired into a USB port.

Presumably, it'll pull voltage off the USB cable, but all the "data" pins are simply not connected or wired.

You can get any standard DC-Barrel charger that has the right OD (Outer dimension) and ID (Inner Dimension). The OD and ID are the measurement of the outside and inside of the barrel connector, which tells you what it'll fit.

So basically, if that SPECIFIC cable in the image above is the correct cable, then you need to find a DC Barrel connector/charger w/ an OD of 5.5mm and an ID of 2.5mm, and a barrel length of 10mm.

If you're getting one pre-wired to a USB cable, you shouldn't need to worry about voltage, but you may only be able to find them pre-wired into a wall charger - in this case, you need to make sure the wall charger output specs match the input voltage of your battery, and match or exceed the input amperage of the battery.

I always did find that expression rather ridiculous. If something is the same, it's by very definition "not different".

Just an FYI, your family didn't invent the expression "same difference" ;) It's quite common

... and the polarity!!!

some barrel connectors have + on the inside and ground on the outside and some have it the other way around.

using a connector with the wrong plolarity can kill your charger and even start a fire. i seen it happen.

i had everything ready and working but then stupid me wired the connector up the wrong way. RIP
