Laptop purchase advice needed!

Hi I need some suggestions for a good all round laptop I want to buy for my friend.

 

Ideally it needs to be Windows 10

It's mainly going to be used for programming, and if possible some light gaming.

 

I've never bought a laptop before and my budget is around 200-250 pounds sterling depending on specs. SSD would be fantastic maybe 128gb for operating system and 500gb-1TB for media

 

I appreciate it's a low budget which is why I need some good suggestions.

 

I appreciate any help you guys can provide. Ideally I would like it to be new and in red/black
