Hello Guys I'm actually new here in this website but I am a big fan of Linus =))

Planning to upgrade my rig after a few upgrade last few weeks.

My Current Rig:

CPU: AMD FX 4100 AM3+

MB: AsRock N68C-GS4 FX

RAM: 8GB 4x2 1333mhz Ram

PSU: Corsair VS450w

GPU: Palit GTX 1050 TI 4GB OC Dual Fan (This what I've upgraded for. ($150)) (Upgraded from R7 260x 2gb)

MON: Philips 227e 22' IPS Frameless Monitor (New Upgrade from 720p mon)- Actually I dont know why I pick this out but huge upgrade from 720p to 1080p and a big fan of slim and frameless monitor

So that's my current rig and I've spend almost $300 for my first upgrade and gave me a slight boost for my gaming experience

First of all, Was my upgrade worth?

I have a budget of $500 for CPU,MB,RAM upgrade but the thing I was thinking is, can my PSU handle the next upgrade?

The purpose of my rig is for my Software developments, multimedia purposes like editing, video productions, rendering and multi tasking and for 1080p gaming experience( My games are: Dota 2 , BF1, NBA 2k) want to max those with 50+ consistent fps

And if you guys can help me to decide what would I do with another $200, I'm actually thinking of buying extra Monitor and the remaining will do for gaming mouse and keyboard

What do you think? So it's like a $1000 rig including my first $300 cost on my first upgrade

Total of : $700 for ugprade ($500 for CPU,MOBO,RAM,)

Hope you can help me. I will reply for any question regarding this

Thank you

Just get a completely new system. salvage the 1050Ti unless you need better graphics.

EDIT:

NVM just saw that you only have $200. not enough for a new rig.

your CPU is definitely holding back your GPU though. it should be the next thing you upgrade.

maybe wait until Ryzen 3 and get one of those.

Sir maybe you misunderstood my question.

I have total of $700 for upgrade

It includes RAM,CPU,MOBO, and if we can add extra monitor and gaming mouse/KB

That would awesome

Thanks hope you understand it now
