Somebody please send this to the appropriate department.

I was going to pay the $30 outright for 1 year, but I can't get a cc, I'm 16.

In the US, we have Prepaid VISA's which aren't reloadable and they cannot be used internationally, nor can they be used for reoccurring payments, therefore it wouldn't work.

I use a bluebird card from amex but I think that requires you to be 18... can you get a parent to put one of these in their name? You reload the card for free at walmart and you can never overdraft it simply wont let you...

Edit! found this... theres a "family account" for people your age...

Who can get Bluebird?

To have a Bluebird Account, you must:

Have a valid Social Security Number

Be at least 18 years old *

Reside in the United States *

To have a Bluebird Family Account, you must:

Be at least 13 years old

Reside in the United States

There are no minimum balance requirements and no credit reviews to join Bluebird.

Unfortunately, we don't have a huge amount of control over the payment methods, and even serious bug reports about it are being ignored at the moment, so it's not something that we can change in the immediate future. However, once we switch to the new system (currently no ETA, but at least several months), it is my understanding that there will be more flexibility.
