Worth Upgrading?

Is it worth for me to upgrade my Nvidia Geforce 1060 6GB to 1070 8GB if I am going to play Overwatch, League of Legends, Dishonored 2, or Nier: Automata at High Settings for 140 SGD (or 100 USD)?

No, The gtx 1060 is fine for those games, the performance increase will be low for the added cost.

Is that the monitor or the card? I am asking refresh rate of the monitor because the card outputs frames

hmm a 1070 could be nice given you only pay $100 more. Can you spend that much?

No it's not worth the upgrade, if you want a few more FPS in games you could overclock it.

Also what is your CPU as higher refresh rate could cause some bottleneck

Maybe, but at high you should definitely be getting over 200 fps on overwatch (120+ at ultra) with your 1060 unless your CPU is a bottleneck. Also, neir automata is capped to 60 fps, so 144hz is meaningless, and Dishonored I heard it has optimization issues.

Of course not, wait for Vega.

To be safe, DDU and reinstall your nVidia drivers all fresh new to ensure it is working on its full potential.
