Is this a good idea

The case I think I am going to purchase has a slot in the front to mount an ssd and show it off. If I do not want to have the words samsung or seagate displayed in the front of my case could I get a custom made vinyl sticker and put it on top of the ssd? Would this be safe?

It's perfectly safe, you don't want to let an SSD get hot anyway.
