Acer Predator XB1 Stuck at 60HZ

I just bought this Acer Predator XB1 and I can not find why it is stuck at 60HZ.  I have a DP cable running from my GTX 1080 directly to my XB1. I can not find anything in the OSD (On Screen Display) to change the settings to 144HZ

What's the full model number of your monitor?

Never mind, I found the settings in Nvidia control panel, I just had to manually change the refresh rate

Right click desktop>display adapter properties>monitor. See if you can change it.

By on screen display I assume you mean you're trying to tell the monitor to run at 144Hz even though it should run at that speed when you tell your gpu to output it. I attached an image that should help.
