Need help with Overclockin

Hi,

 

Helping out a friend with his PC.

We got Him a Ryzen 1700 and  MSI B350 PC MATE

We'll be using the stock fan that came with the CPU.

 

I just need help overclocking it as I've never done one before.

 

Any inputs and suggestions are greatly appreaciated.

I would suggest an aftermarket cooler before playing with bios.

Its for sure stock cooler will not be able manage the cooling required.

Actually, no, depending on case size a DH15 or Dark Rock Pro 3 would be better options.

I agree, but generally people use water cooler which gives you more space inside the case.

Also, if you use air cooler you might not able to use all ram( Big Heatsink) slots.
