hey guys.

just upgraded my ancient pc for gaming needs.

it had 4 gb of ddr3 ram and an ancient i3 3240.

it also didnt have a gpu, so i used the onboard one.

new i bought a rx 470, 4 gb of ddr3 memory, an ssd and a new power supply.

The pc rocks! it's very very cheap and gives me great performence, a lot better than my old xbox 360.

witcher 3 - 42-60 fps

gta v - 55-60

fallout 4 - 55-65

doom - 90-130 (well thanks vulkan)

dark souls 3- 45-50

bf 1 - 55-70

hitman - 55-60

just cause 3 - 45-55

watch dogs 2 - 55-60

(everything on high-ultra preset with very cpu deamending options turned off (like post proccesing anti aliasing))

Nice.

I also have experience making an old system (actually the one in my signature) fly once again.

Originally bought it used with a Core 2 Quad Q9400, MSI G41M motherboard, 4GB DDR3, and GTX 275

So yeah, this system should have been a darn good machine when new.

When I have saved some budget, I replaced the motherboard with a P45 one from Gigabyte for overclocking, 4GB extra DDR3, a GTX 1060 and 550W PSU (a quality one, just forgot the exact model). Now it's performance is similar to yours. However, I got an i5 4460 with motherboard bundle from my parents who decided to replace their PC, so I gave that old rig to my cousin without much time playing around.
