Overclocking i7 960 error

I keep getting the bsod

CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

While play the game birthdays the beginning 


But i never do with other games i know the error is because of ocing and it means i have the increase the vcore of my cpu but every time i run prime95 and intelburntest it never bsod or get any errors and my cpu turns out stable 

It always happens when i let it idle on the time passing screen 

These are my specs

GTX 1070 SuperClocked 
I7 960 OC'ed to 4 Ghz 1.35V
12 GB g.skill ddr3

Sabertooth 58x Mobo
850w corsair psu

in order to validate a stable overclock it has to be able to run everything you need without crashing

 

so you might just have to lower your overclock

Any suggestions to how much lower? Or any advice to overclock it better? I've only raised the cpu voltage

Will be some other voltage like vtt needs increase as well

Keep underclocking from that clock speed and keep increasing the voltage until it can run a CPU benchmark like AIDA64 for 12 hours straight overnight without shutting down.  Same for the GPU but of course with something like Heaven or FurMark instead of AIDA.

 

 

Intel Extreme Tuning Utility is good too        xD
