It will at 1080p 144hz, but should be fine for 1440p+.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

No..... The higher the resolution goes that more CPU power you need, that is why Ryzen has the same or better fps in 4K gaming than Intel

Should I change the CPU then?

What? The GPU load increases reducing load on CPU, its the other way round (I7 7700k is better than Ryzen for gaming flat out, IPC and clock speed is better than cores there).

So will there be no bottleneck on 4K 60hz?

No, it will not bottleneck it at all (Though you could consider R5 for a cheaper price, not that would improve performance much there).

If I went for the R5 would it decrease performance?

No, R5 is actually better than an i5 for most things (CPU power isnt as important for 4K anyway).

Which R5 would I choose?

The 1600, but if you are solely gonna be playing games then you should stay with intel

Nope. Resolution doesn't affect CPU usage at all. Not even a little bit. That's all GPU.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!
