Kickstarter

How hard is it to get funded on kickstarter as a single developer. Assuming you have a great game and great presentation. Will people even look at it if you are not famous or well known

Given the number of failures on KS, people have become more leery about what and who they choose to back.  My recommendation would be to get the game at least to the point of having a playable demo ready.  If people can see the work you've already done, it will go a long way towards engendering trust in your project.
