Hi guys,
I'm planning a new build for mid June/early July and need help choosing parts for some RGB goodness but don't know if they will be compatible controlling the lighting.

First off, What would be a good upgrade from an i5 3570k @ 4.4ghz and Radeon HD 7950? I am thinking either i5 7600K or Ryzen 1600, but I can be persuaded if other options yield better performance. For the graphics card I will probably get a GTX 1070 STRIX because of its overall black color and RGB. Also, I will be using a Dell U2715H @ 1440p and this will be purely used for gaming and internet.

For ram I am thinking Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB DDR4 3000, but will I be able to control the RGB properly on any of the boards I chose below?

As for the motherboard, aesthetics are important here and I want some RGB on the board, however I don't want any rogue indicator LEDs that are not able to be changed to match the RGB color scheme. I heard this has plagued a couple of boards.

Intel (or any other suggestions?)
GIGABYTE AORUS GA-Z270X-Gaming K5
MSI Z270 GAMING M5
MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon

AM4 (or any other suggestions?)
MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon (but i heard this one has rogue indicator LEDs, can anyone confirm?)
GIGABYTE AORUS GA-AX370-Gaming K5

Now for case fans, I really like the Thermaltake Riing Plus but I may go with Corsair HD120 since they can be purchased as singles whereas the Riings are only available in a 3-pack. Thoughts?

I am also open to suggestions for a CPU air cooler. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Here's a bit more info...

Budget is about $1800 CAD.

I will be reusing some parts from older builds, I haven't decided on a case yet but I will use my Antec DF85 in the meantime. I also have 2 Crucial M4 128GB that I plan to put into Raid-0 and reuse my old hdd. PSU will be Corsair AX760 which I also have. Mostly I just need help choosing the board, ram and cpu and RGB fans.

I'm sure Ryzen is more bang for buck but if I do plan on going the intel route for aesthetic reasons, would a 7600k not be an improvement over 3570k?

a 7600K isn't really that much better than a 3570K. maybe 25% if you're lucky and OC.

This is the best I think, with RGB RAM and a HUE+ and AER RGB Fans

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor  ($280.25 @ shopRBC)
CPU Cooler: NZXT - Kraken X62 Liquid CPU Cooler  ($184.99 @ Newegg Canada)
Motherboard: MSI - X370 SLI PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($186.98 @ DirectCanada)
Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  ($214.99 @ Memory Express)
Video Card: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB AMP! Edition Video Card  ($699.99 @ NCIX)
Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 TEMPERED GLASS ATX Mid Tower Case  ($109.99 @ Newegg Canada)
Other: HUE+ ($90.00)
Other: AER RGB Fan ($35.00)
Total: $1802.19

You could save money by not buying  a P400 Tempered and using your previous case.
