I will be purchasing the cougar challenger case later this year and i was wondering how you tell if a case supports 2.5 size slots for the back of the case (if that makes sense). the gpu i am getting needs 2.5 slots (that is all it says) and i am assuming it means the slots on the back of the case you remove to reach the ports. i just want to know if this case is compatible or how can i tell if this case is compatible ill put a link to the case and maybe a more trained eye than mine can tell if they already don't know off the top of their head. thanks

which graphics card do you have? You might only need to take 2 covers out as the gpu might only need 2.5 slots of space inside the case, if that makes any sense

i will be getting this case later this year as well as this gpu

yeah, you will only need to remove 2 covers but you won't be able to use the PCI slot right under those 2 slots.

thats fine thanks

It's called a "two and a half slot" design because the GPU cooler is thicker than two PCIE bracket sizes (you can see the GPU extend further to the right than the silver bracket in the photo below) and as previously mentioned this would just make it impossible to place something in the third slot, though you wont have to remove the third bracket to fit it (There are some cards that are three slot designs that use the third bracket slot, in which case you would have to remove the third bracket.)
