well things like the binding of Isaac or don't starve... sure.

Yeah, and even 3D titles if you don't expect top graphics res or fps, particularly if you play things that are a few years old

Yeah, it won't be a good experience, but neither will a super cheap GPU, and at least the integrated one is free :P

@Teetech basically all of Intel's mainstream desktop processors come with an integrated cpu so you don't have to worry about buying a dedicated graphics card unless you want to play games at decent settings. Most of the cpus that don't have integrated graphics are amd's cpus other than their apus and alot of Intel xeons

I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT buy a cheap GPU.

Save whatever money you can, and wait abit longer and buy a decent GPU instead.

There are pretty good ones that comes in cheap, LTT have made a few videos that gives great suggestions on that topic. But if you're only going to watch YouTube videos and just browse around the internet then the integrated graphics in your CPU will do fine.

EDIT -  GTX 750 Ti 2GB is a pretty decent graphics card for about 130$

WHAT THE FUCK!

Really?

Core i7 7700k, top of the line, and not getting a proper discreet Graphics Card.

Maybe they are right when they say this generation is fucked.....

Oh, ok.  Just say this.....   :o

Just use the integrated one.  Also, code does not give a shit about graphics unless you are programming a game or something like that.  As for YouTube, unless you go higher than 4K, the integrated CPU from the core i7 should be fine.

That CPu is pretty decent, so if you buy a cheap GPU, the integrated one will likely be better anyways.

One small problem I have with his motherboard is, it costs 160$ on Amazon.

Why spend that kind of money on a motherboard? There are good motherboards for under 100$.

He could've spend some of that on a decent GPU.

The iGPU is by definition integrated with your CPU. You don't need to buy anything else.

I understand, but surely you can work on your PC with a motherboard that costs half that?

I don't see how you will be able to do any kind of complex work. Browsing the internet, watching YouTube videos and do general writing is about all you can do now.

Motherboards don't really impact performance in any way, it does limit features, but even a motherboard for 80$ would have enough features for work related tasks.
