To keep it short; My computer was working great. 

Bought used Xeon X5650 cpu.

Installed said CPU.

Computer that was working is mow not.

basically all the fans power up, mobo lights too but no signal is sent. Iv already read the stickies,  tried another GPU and another screen. Any suggestions?

If this issue occurred just after installing a "new" CPU this could be 2 things. Dead CPU or CPU incompatibility.

Crap I was hoping it didn't come to that. My MOBO should support it, it's an x58 board. 

If it's a dead CPU, then Iv flushed money down the toilet. Yay

Desktop motherboards don't always play friendly with Xeons.

If the Xeon is important to you then you can risk updating the BIOS with the old CPU installed. The BIOS might just be out of date for the Xeon you're trying to use.

Remember, Xeon is a server chip so desktop mobos are likely not to be very happy with a server chip.

You can update the BIOS, but it is risky.

Well, thanks for the help guys. Completely forgot about updating the BIOS. Updated it and the computer fired right up no problem. :D
