Hey, I'm trying to build my first pc.

The specs are:

Cpu: Pentium G4560

Mobo: gigabyte ga-H110m S2

Ram: 8gb ddr4 2133mhz

PSU: Thermaltake litepower 450W 80+

Ssd: SanDisk 256gb

GPU: GTX 1050 Ti

Cabinet: Circle CC-830

The build is complete, but now I'm facing a problem.

I first ran the Build without the GPU as it has still not arrived. Installed all drivers of Intel and was running fine on the iGPU hd 610.

But when the GPU arrived I inserted it, connected the dvi input to graphics card and booted but my monitor is remaining blank; no display is being shown. Every part is powered on and I can understand the CPU is booting in the background (by setting the lights of the keyboard) but no input signal from GPU.

So, I disconnected the GPU ran via iGPU and checked the bios. The pcie 1 slot was selected as primary device.

I tried disabling onboard GPU from Bios, but then neither the dGPU nor the iGPU would boot. I ended up having to reset my Bios. Now only the iGPU is working.

I am in a tight spot here. Please help me out guys.

Thanks in advance.

What's that supposed to mean. I'm sorry I didn't get you.

use the igpu -> windows -> download and use DDU (display driver uninstaller) -> restart windows -> plug in gpu -> boot into windows -> install nvidia drivers -> reboot

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Display Driver Uninstaller is a driver removal utility that can help you completely uninstall AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers and packages from your system, without leaving leftovers behind (including registry keys, folders and files, driver store).

Hmm, use the iGPU and see is the card in the BIOS, if it isn't it's probably a DOA (dead on arrival) and can happen sometimes, but most likely the motherboard is set to use the iGPU as the primary display, set it to auto so that it disables with when the addin GPU is installed.

I can't say it removes all the files and registry keys, it removes about 95% but I still find a few, they don't affect it even going from AMD to Nvidia GPUs though.

I have selected pcie x1 as primary. I have checked iGPU to be Auto as well as I manually disabled iGPU to no avail.

do you have another PC to test the GPU in? Did it need a PCIe auxiliary power connector that you forgot to plug in?

After I removed the Intel drivers using DDU (in safe mode)

I plugged in the dGPU but still it's a blank screen.

Checked the Bios settings once again but all options are correctly configured.

I inserted a borrowed GT 730 but that is showing the same problem, so my GPU must be fine.

The gpu is fine I tested it in my friend's pc. The gtx 1050 doesn't need an external power supply

then give that, I'd say you have a dead PCIe slot, or maybe the CPU isn't seated right, try re-seating and if still no die do an RMA on the motherboard.

I rechecked the CPU position and its fine. I guess I'll have to contact Gigabyte for assistance. Thanks Anyway.
