How do u exactly over clock a cpu?

MOAR PERFORMANCE!

But seriously, if you don't know what it does or how to do it, look at some videos by TTL on how to overclock certain processors. They tend to be more in depth than other peoples videos I have found.

jayztwocents also has a good one

I watched many videos and intro on over clocking but what do u do it for? Do u try out and keep the best configuration that fits u the best or over clocking is just only for beating records? After all, what exactly u do to over clock without liquid nitrogen?

For the standard person it's to squeeze the extra performance out of it that the manufacturer has limited to avoid chips dying quickly. There is a sport based around it, however.

Some people do it for fun. Most do it to improve system performance. These days, good overclocking motherboards include BIOS and / or software that can automatically and safely overclock a system. Generally they won't give one the best performance possible, but they will deliver a decent and safe improvement.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
