Hey guys,

I was planning to upgrade my Graphics Card come Christmas and I was wondering if a Asus Radeon R9 270x would run no problem with a Phenom II X4. My friend knows computers but he knows more about Intel than AMD. My Current motherboard is a Foxconn Aloe.

If you guys need any more info i'll be glad to give it to you.

I live in the US and my budget is pretty much the cost of the 270x.

You could get the 270 for cheaper and overclock it. It will perform the same if not better than the 270x.

Would i be able to run let's say, BF4, and a have good framerate with a 1080p resolution?

The R9 270X comes bundled with BF4 and it is not bad at high settings (around 60): http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2013/11/13/amd-radeon-r9-270-review/4
