Automatic driver updating software?

Is anyone yet to encounter a piece of software (or batch file, either/or) that would automate the process of having to manually check for updated drivers inside of device manager?

I'd rather not manually go into device manager and check piece by piece under system devices to check for driver updates if there is a utility that can check on a schedule or something (or i can use task scheduler for it)

No, not really, i just had to manually go in and right click update drivers (and then search for drivers)

Has issues like all apps. Wouldn't call it really bad. Has worked great for me for some time now.

Ah, I see you've bought into the sort of placebo-scamware product that is Driver Booster from IOBit. Welp, I wish you the best of luck.  Seriously though, I'll bet that the Pro version won't install additional adware and PuPs, but I've never used it, so again, good luck...

 

How do I keep my drivers updated? By manually checking with my motherboard and GPU vendors. Windows 10 takes care of everything else.

I only updated 1 driver in the past year and that's for my aging R9 285... my mobo driver is as old as my windows install and that's about a year.

the iobit one? it isn't all that bad, but makes no sense a paid account as the free one does the same stuff... worth saying not to trust any other iobit product but their unnistaller... good one to get rid of bloatware.

Well, i cloned my boot drive over as a backup and plunged in to see if it really was all that bad, and truthfully nothing bad has become of it so far, no popups, slow performance, etc. I'm still not going to clone over my backup until i test further, but so far it's working nicely (seemingly)
