Best games for an arcade

So I'm working on an arcade, and currently I'm searching for games. Any recommendations? What games did you love playing?

The Simpsons in a 4 player cabinet would be awesome. Also a racing game like Cruis'n USA or Hydro Thunder.

Ahh I should have read closer. Thought you were building an epic arcade room with loads of cash. Still you can get The Simpsons on the MAME and 2 players is fine. I'd also recommend Ninja Turtles Turtles in Time, Mario Kart, Tecmo Bowl, Double Dragon, 1942, and definitely Smash TV.

Hahahaha no I don't have the budget for an epic arcade room... Nor an area large enough to house all the arcades etc. (my apartment is just under 45 m^2). I am considering though to put a beer tap with a small 5lt keg. We'll see...

Ms Pacman, Duck Hunt, NBA Jam, Golden Tee, Paperboy, Dig Dug, Frogger, Donkey Kong. A fan favorite is Bomberman for multiplayer action. A few pinball machines.

Only a 5l keg? you must be a light drinker... Most people would go through that in about a week or 2... unless you don't mind refilling it often. think about it you will get only 10 full pints out of it before its nearly empty.

Been there done that. I used to have 3 beers (3 full size kegs) on tap w/full size beer taps like in the bars in a cooler fridge stainless steel bar top.

Well when it comes to drinking actual alcohol (Vodka, Whiskey, Jaeger, Gin, etc) I can hold my fair share. But beer is a different story. It's soda for adults. I can have one, maybe two. No more. I end up urinating for the rest of the day... Maybe I'll put a tap and connect it to one of the for-mentioned liquors

I was thinking about hiding it in the back of the arcade (since I'll be using a modern PC LED monitor), I'll have a lot of room behind the screen. Also, I don't want the beer to warm up too quickly, so 2 guys 5 liters is perfect for a casual game on the arcade.

Oh cool sorta the same here I love rum but beer tastes terrible to me.

There are times in my life that I have been accused of telling tall tales. I submit photographic evidence from my garage where all the above existed. What still remains are the arcade games. You gotta have Tecmo Bowl. Arch rivals is fantastic also. Ninja gaiden is another. Jordan vs Bird is a classic. If you can you could get Star Fox. Golden tee golf would be awesome if you can get the ball mechanism.
