Depends on your budget. Tbh I would go with a 7950 or 7970 as they should be around the same price as 2*6870.

if you have both cards lying around then yeah, go for it

it will work despite being different brands

both cards are used and they work perfectly. i have been looking for another hawk 6870 for over a year but im thinking on buying a 2nd xfx 6870 and do a tiny oc on them. if this hawk + xfx Crossfire works good, its not permanent

I have 2 6870 hawk myself. They are good but 1gb ram holds them back in some cases. I think selling your hawk to an overclocker and ho is willing to pay you a good price for it and getting a 7950 is a better option.
