I will be building a new computer:

GPU: 1080 ti (FE)

CPU: i7-7700k

MOBO: Aorus SOC Z270X

CASE: Fractal S
PSU: seasonic 650W titanium
RAM: Gskill 4x8GB (32gb)
STORAGE: 2x 500GB HDD (random), 1 250GB SSD (booting/systems), 1 512 M.2 SSD (gaming)

My goal is to OC while  gaming, and I don't know if a 360mm rad on the front will be enough, I was thinking a SE 120 will work on the back but I wasn't sure

I do not mind having another 360 on top, or the amount of noise it would make.

That is enough for a single CPU and GPU even with overclocking, if you wanted to optimize your build for silence having more rad space doesn't hurt.

A 360 and 240 were enough to run a 500W TDP system fanless during idle, and very quiet under full load.

Op, if you can afford it, more radiators are nice.

Yep I got a thick 360mm and thinner 240mm in my loop, dead silent at full load :)

rad thickness also matters, e.g. a corsair h80i in a push/pull config can perform as godo as their 240mm rad. 360 is easily enoguh for decent oc'ing and also adding the GPU to the loop. If you want better performance use more than minimum fan speed.

If you look at my spare rig, I'm running that in parallel with a single 360. Its had the 40mm ek, just swapped to a aphacool(I think) 60mil.

Does the job. Using some switftech fans, even my noctua nf12's ran it at the same temps. Each component would be low to mid 50's. Just the cpu and gpu are in the loop.

Id get more rad space be the best results.
