I have idea for sketchy heatsink using copper wire,

I've commented on youtube but the video is 4 days ago so I post it again here just in case.

Wouldn't it be much easier to just buy a roll of bare copper wire and make a big coil? Just wind it around something. 

 

The hardest part is how to mount it and have proper contact with the CPU.

and more than enough thermal paste for contact

First off, have you seen how Linus hammers a nail? Its pretty sad to see.

LTT's fabrication skills are very very low. The wooden desk is about all they could do with the help of family who had the skills.
