Sound BlasterX Katana: Opinion?

2BOnest

Hi all, I'm very interested in the Sound BlasterX Katana sound bar with the rgb light system (Aurora Reactive as they called) for my gaming rig but I've a question:

It seems that the lights are not responsive to anything (like music or cpu like we are used with the Asus Aura) but it just follows the cycle you set with the option on changing the palette/motion with some applications and games, is that correct? I think is a very shame that lights won't follow you up with the audio :(

Any opinion? Still a great bar tho imho!

its way to expensive for what it is. dont get it.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

I like the Asus Aura thing a lot with the music feature. You know some speaker system that goes with the same type of "lightshow" like Katana does? :)

nope but you can just strap some RGB stips to some normal speakers and save youself a load of money
