Windows update has killed my audio ?

Hi looking for help I did a windows update this morning and now my audio is not working correctly. If I play a game or watch a YouTube video the sound is really badly muffeled and if I try to record a video clip my mic comes out all muffeled also. Anyone know how to fix this please ?

Did you try rolling back the audio driver using device manager?

I don't know what I did was messing around with settings there and whatever ive did seems to have fixed it
