Corsair 460x case question

I am considering getting this casde to transfer my build in but im unsure about how the fan controller works with it. do i still need to plug the fans into the motherboard or does it take care of everything? i only have 2 fan headers besides my cpu one on my motherboard, atm i am using a fan controller to control my fans which will not work with that case as it has no dvd drive slot

The case comes with the corsair RGB fan controller which will take care of the lighting and speed control in a manual controller.
