Internet speed/type/i don't know.

There are multiple problems.

1) Wifi on laptops isn't okay (and on my dad's phone, but the rest is working fine)

2) My internet connection is weird or something, on ARMA2 and 3 I can maybe see like 5 servers out of the thousands.

These problems have been there for a long time but wherever I look (port forwarding, Nat-type, signal strength) nothing helps.

The main reason nothing is done yet is because I have no trouble except for the server thing. Because I have a ethernet cable going from my PC to the main modem.

When you say the WiFi isn't OK does that mean they fail to connect?

What type of modem/router is it?

If you restart the laptop it maybe works for 30 seconds and then it goes away again.

Modem is Cisco EPC3925

Router is TP-Link TL-WR1043ND

I'm wondering if the Modem is mis-configuring your computer. With DHCP enabled you'll get  your IP address and a DNS address (sometimes two). Was your network adapter configured manually or did your computer configure itself? I'm thinking it could be a DNS problem as to why you can only see a limited number of servers.

I'm wondering if the router is configured to only allow a limited number of WiFi connections at any one given time.

The Cisco EPC3925 is a cable modem/wireless router combo. So with the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND and the Cisco EPC3925, you are running 2 wireless routers on your network.

I would say you are having some wireless interference by the 2 routers, causing the connectivity issue with the laptops.

I have not played ARMA 2 or 3 before, but I am going to take a shot in the dark and say that the NAT (Network Address Translation) is set to strict. This may be caused by the 2 wireless routers on the network. Try removing the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND from the network and see if that helps.

If you need the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND for any reason, say the Cisco EPC3925 does not have a strong enough WiFi signal. Set the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND to simply repeat the Cisco EPC3925 signal. I believe this is called bridged mode, correct me if I am wrong.

Mhm... As far as I know the modem of ours is not emitting a wifi-signal. I have no connection problems being hooked up with my modem. But the server thing persists.

But it's litteraly only arma 3. I got 180 games and not one has problems. So that's why I find it weird.

Okay, that is weird.

Its possible that the Cisco modem is set to not use WiFi. Have you tried calling your internet service provider? They may be able to help. The first thing they will have you do is a hard reset. Which is where you unplug all your network equipment for 1 minute and plug them back in one at a time. Starting with the modem onto the router and than anything else, network switches, computers, etc. Make sure you wait for the equipment to power up fully before moving to the next one. Try that and see if it works.

One more thing, is your network equipment near anything, like a microwave or something of that sort? I still think there is some interference somewhere.

Also try searching around, see if someone has a fix for your issue with Arma. Who knows, maybe the Arma support website has a fix.
