Budget Ultrawide Monitor

Macimoar

I've been looking into the Ultrawide aspect ratio. It seems pretty appealing, but I don't feel like spending $1k for a good experience.

What is the cheapest Ultrawide monitor that someone could recommend? I don't want the cheapest overall option, unless it is justifiably good.

PSU Tier List - I keep forgetting where this is so I'm going to leave it here.

There is an AOC 34" 1440p ultrawide that is under $600. If that is still too expensive then there are plenty of 29" 1080p ultrawides. There is actually an LG going for $300 i think. Tell me which option works the best for you and I'll find a link to it.

I'd probably say the LG, but if you could link the AOC one too so I could compare that would be great

No problem.

My bad, The LG I was thinking of was actually a 34" so if you are fine with the low Pixels per inch then that would work for you:

Right now the cheapest 29" 1080p ultrawide is this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824025112&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= but it isn't curved.

This is the AOC I was talking about: https://pcpartpicker.com/mr/bhphotovideo/FWDzK8

depends on whether you want 2560x1080 or 3440x1440, massive price difference

I own an LG 29UB55-B personally, and it's been fantastic. 2560x1080, got it for 250 when it was new, but now you can find it as low as 200 new sometimes.

Make sure you get at least a 29 inch panel, as it's a good sweet spot imo.
