How To Run Android Apps On Windows?

Go to solution Solved by Nytohan,

Last time I tried it, Bluestacks worked pretty well:
http://www.bluestacks.com/

I had read an article earlier about Bluestacks. I tried to install Remix OS last night on a USB drive, but I could never get it to boot. I properly followed the instructions, it just wouldn't work. Also, I meant to ask this earlier, can you access the Google Play Store within any of these programs?

Thanks, guys! I really do appreciate the help!

Android SDK: the official thing

Those are really aimed more at developers to test apps in development across different form factors. As far as end-users intending to install apps to use this is not a great solution.

Not really easy to run for the average user, more developer-oriented. Bluestacks is good, Remix was a little glitchy, andyroid was.... I forgot.

Oh yeah my bad, forgot that it requires android studio, just what I used. Although I develop. Bluestacks would be better then.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I have been reading as well.

I've been using Droid4X for longer time now. Used to have Bluestacks, but since its "either pay $3/mo or install crap"-style of software, I went the other way. Plus there was whole mess with it refusing to uninstall and reinstall properly after system restore.

Main issue with Droid4X is theme. Its really bright red and there isn't any way to change it. Another minor issue is that it hides apps from main screen. You can still open them from Store/Installed or Play Games/My Games etc.

Another one I tried was Nox. But it had really bad UI compared to Bluestacks and Droid4X, and it was very, very slow to load. Anything. I was using it with my laptop, which also loads Droid4X slowly, but still.
