Looking For Horizontal Laying PC Case

Go to solution Solved by NumLock21,

Go to pcpartpicker.com

select the country your in

Go to cases and on the left, select desktop and HTPC

Looking for suggestions for a PC case that can be (aesthetically) laid horizontally. Yes, almost any PC case can be laid on its side, but it'm looking for something that looks like it's meant to be as much as it is vertically.

Price isn't really a concern, just nothing insane like these In-Win prices of £300.

I don't mind if it's a SFX PSU, though if not it's a plus. Needs to support a GPU length of 300mm (GTX 970 G1 Gaming). Cooler height, again, not really bothered as I'll buy a new one if needed.

Preferably something that has an In-Win style to it - metal, sleek, stylish, minimalist, no gamer LED sticker logo bullshit

The Chopin is exactly what I'm looking for style wise, just not the PSU or GPU support lol

Corsair Makes some cube like cases that can go either way up and still look good. Like this: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/carbide-series-air-240-arctic-white-high-airflow-micro-atx-and-mini-itx-pc-case, they have it in black as well.

The Silverstone GD09 is so good that I got two of them. Though, be warned, it's basically as large as a mid-tower on it's side. It supported my Sapphire Tri-X 290 (12"), so I'm sure it can support your card.

Gee thanks man, totally didn't think of that and wanted to ask for people's own opinion and ones they've bought themselves for the hell of it

I've thought about the 240 but it would look a bit empty with an itx board :/

Some people have their likes and dislikes :P Though, if ITX... the Node 202 is your best option, but it doesn't support 3.5" drives..

There's not much of horizontal lying cases out there, thus the reason why I suggest that to help you find the right case for you.

Cooler Master HAF XB is horizontal case, but more like a large cube. SilverStone should have some towards what you're looking for.

Which is exactly why I wanted to ask people for the ones they knew of, and suited the above needs; rather than me trawling through pcpartpicker :P (other people doing my donkey work basically).

Anyway, I don't really think there's anything of what I have in mind. As a lot of people are, really picky and very specific person when it comes to a case.

Thanks anyway
