So I noticed, that on idle, the loudest fan of my pc is the psu fan, but since i want my system to be quiet, i would like to replace it with a noctua fan. If it is possible, with i highly think so, do i have to get a high pressure, high airflow or balanced (noctua A series i think, though they have high rpms, so there could be higher rpm on the noctua which will not add any noise bonus). I would get one with 1200 rpm (minimum fan speed on noctua) or 1500 rpm

what do you guys think?

for psu you dont need much air flow so get the quietest one you can buy, keep in mind that yhe connector in the psu will probably be diferent than the one on the fan and you will have to find a way to connect them together ( cutting the old fan's connector )

Yea easy enough and used to be a rather common mod, I'd use a static pressure fan just so there's no flow problems with filters etc. That said there probably wont to any flow issues either way

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige

PSU fans use different connections than 3 or 4-pin headers that motherboards use. You'll need to solder.

well, ihave a silverstone one and not corsair :/ and the fact, that you have to manually cut around on the fan connector at some point to connect them is not something i would do on a 120€ PSU
