I would go for a 1600, you will get better performance in the avg and 1% /0.1% frames.

The 1600 is comparable to the 1600x ____

I wouldn't suggest an A since the B offers overclocking support without the fancy features of the X.
I wouldn't worry about the X either, based on the budget, that you wont readily use the features of the X board, SLI/NVME/OCRAM, any time soon.
