hey, guys, I know this is an extremely basic question, but I game with two monitors and I've been playing a lot of player unknown recently and I've noticed I've been haveing CPU issues(I'm on an i-5 4460) so I wanted to upgrade. so what is the best bang for your buck i7 out there right now? Thanks for any help!

Ex of tasks I want i7 to perform

1. handle any game (most CPU intensive games I play are rust, ark, player unknown).

2. be able to watch videos/ play flash games while playing those game on the second monitor.

3. other than that it i-5 has worked great so just as long as it can keep up with what the i5 has done.

4. no overclocking.

5. The cheaper the better

Either go with the Xeon that @Droidbot has suggested, or pickup a used i7-4770 or i7-4790K + motherboard.

Unless you're willing to spend more munnies, going with 6th or 7th gen Intel CPUs is still terrible bang for buck in their desktop SKU lineup.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, 5060 Ti) Mobile: Moto Razr 50 Ultra (Razr+ 2024) | 30GB CAN+US+MEX $30/month
Laptop: Lenovo Yoga 7i (16") 82UF0015US (i7-12700H, 16GB/2TB RAM/SSD, A370M GPU) Tablet: Lenovo Tab Plus (256GB)
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

That motherboard is fine yeah, and will actually allow for overclocking if you really wanted to.
