i havent heard anything since theyve released game play footage almost 3 years ago just got my friend addicted to the first one and riptide we havent done yet but he and i are ready for dead island 2! has there been any news at all?

Deep Silver ditched the original dev, which probably set the project back considerably.

Well gotta stick to the other countless zombie games meanwhile, Dead Island 1 was really a nice game, I live in a touristic island myself I would get scared sometimes on the jungle areas at night xD

Skipped all the comments, sorry. As far as I know, DI2 development has been quitted several times, and the devs have probably changed at least three times now. I'm really hoping for it to come out since me and two of my friends have played DI and Riptide through twice. It seems that it is in development atm. Really liked the more dead rising type of game play shown in the trailer.
