the APU are a waste of money

the Intel cheapest CPU like the G4400 and a basic RX550 will do much better

is there a reason you picked the AMD FX  over Ryzen? and if you can tell us what will be the use of the build that would make it much easier to help

ok one i cant find a micro atx mobo that fits ryzen and that would set me about 300$ over my budget so yea

and 2 because i cant go with ryzen i picked the fx because of its six cores so yea

ok how does this look the power supply is 50 AUD on newegg au.pcpartpicker.com/list/wFwyTH

Ryzen and an mATX mobo is  only $130 over budget and so, so much better.

PCPartPicker part list: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/Y7rRbj

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($245.00 @ Centre Com)
Motherboard: ASRock AB350M-HDV Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($109.00 @ Scorptec)
Memory: Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory  ($72.00 @ Shopping Express)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($60.00 @ Centre Com)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 2GB WINDFORCE OC Video Card  ($129.00 @ Umart)

Power Supply: EVGA B3 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Total: $664.50

P.S. Ryzen is hyper-threaded if you didn't know so it has 8 threads, hell of a lot better than a straight 6c system

Why not get a faster and newer 4c/8t CPU?  It should waay outperform a 6300

Do not buy an APU, and do NOT buy AM3+. A Pentium G4560 would be a wiser purchase than an FX-6300. The FX-6300 isn't really a 6 core CPU anyway. It would fall somewhere between 3 and 6 cores. Regardless, core count doesn't mean shit when the CPU itself is so slow.
