$1000 laptop

I'm looking for a laptop for around $1000 I want it to be on the smaller side, fast and durable.

 

As I said I wasn't it to be smaller so no number pad.

 

I'll be using it mainly for writing but I may do light gaming on it when I'm bored.

The stock screen on the 7567 is terrible with colors and viewing angles, though this is fixed with 5 minutes of time and an extra $50.

macbook pro 13 inch 2015. It can be had for $1,169 but I think that it's worth the extra money you pay for it.

Yeah, easily fixed with thermal  paste.  I'm assuming OP is asking around and would research more into  any laptop talked about here so they would figure it out if  they went razer

yea but that voids the shit out of your warranty unlike other laptops. razer customer service sees so much as you open their laptops and warranty is denied because fuck you. 

 

and no it can't easily be fixed cause quality control has nothing to do with the shit thermals it has. Razer's component usage is in the gutter as well. Sourcing the cheapest possible parts despite the extremely high temps they have to endure in their stupid ass thermal system.

Go on Thinkpad Outlet and take a look at the X260/X270

Go on Dell Outlet and take a look at the E7470.

 

Both of these are really good small laptops on the side.
