Hi guys,

im after a little advice in recommending a device for a client. Basically they're after a laptop with a sim slot, very uncommon in our country at least so I'll have to source overseas. It's got to be current and quick enough that they won't need an upgrade for a while to come.

im thinking just a surface 3 but the pro doesn't have a sim slot. Does anyone have any other ideas?

almost any dell/lenovo/hp buiness grade laptop will have this as a option.

id get a e5480 or t480

I'll have a wee dig around with some different configs of both and see what they like the look of most, cheers man.

It's difficult to find independent reviews on business grade gear

Not to many now, mostly on tablets with cellular modules built in for 4G LTE. Can get a USB adapter from your local cellular store to get 4G LTE. Monthly charges apply and those with built in won't work until you get a data plan.

Yeah, well aware of that option. This is for a mobile based client, it'll be jumped around a few staff members attending calls etc and they don't want to be carrying around dongles or tethering a connection. I like the look of some of the business grade machines people have linked, just need to find something they like out of those configs :)
