Weird problem with my Hyper212 evo fan and extreme quiet

I have recently built a new computer with a hyper 212 evo cpu cooler. Whenever I turn on extreme quiet via Asus ai suite 3 my cpu fan will spin down as instructed, but after about 20 seconds it will shoot up to 1200rpm and won't come down unless I readjust the curve. The problem repeats itself once I have altered the curve. Any idea what might be going on here? This is my first post on this forum so if I've done something wrong please be kind......

The fan runs fine without extreme quiet on

It seems that there may be a little bug on exterme quiet. I would suggest just taking it off of exterme quiet and adjusting the fan curve for your quiet needs. With my delta fans my computer roars but we do have different prefrences! I do hope this has helped.
