Modding Define S

Hey,

My PC is in my bedroom and the blinking blue light of my Define S really distracting me.

Is there a way I can just make the LED turn on when PC is on instead of being an HDD status LED?

If not, what's the best way to disable it without cutting anything?

Just don't plug It into you motherboard? 

 

I did the same. There are usually 4cables going from case (front io) to motherboard. 

- power button

- power led

- reset button

- HDD led. 

I only gave power button plugged in.

Consult your Mainboards manual to see which cable it is.

just plug the HDD activity LED into the PWR_LED plug of your mobo.

I ended Up disconnecting PWR +, PWR - and HDD.

No light anymore!!

Welcome to the club  

For months I was putting my t-shirt on my PC to cover those lights, but then I realised I'm being dumb and I just unplugged those cables aswell.
