If you can, save ~$150 and get an Athlon X4 750K and a 650Ti Boost/7850

Hey!
I have been thinking about building a small PC in the Fractal Design Core 1000, which I would be able to grab for LAN Parties, because we started to do it with friends (and my R4 is so damn heavy!).

So I put together a small list, but it still needs some editing, and that is why I'm posting it.

Did I mention that I want to fit in a 350 budget? (I live in Poland so prices vary)

CPU: AMD APU A6 6400k
MOBO: MSI FM2-A55M-E33
RAM: I'm thinking between 1866 and 1600
CASE: Fractal Design Core 1000
HDD: Scavenge time!
PSU: Don't know how much power will this system use

By looking at the specs you're thinking probably "OMG this won't run anything" but on LAN parties you don't really play all them new titles.
So, what do you think about the build, any suggestions about the RAM and the PSU?

Wish You many successful builds,
Max

I had a similar build with a 660 in it and I could run bf3 on ultra at 55-60fps. I use an A8 5600k

So is the build worth it? Or like TheRoss0411 said, it is a waste of money? I'm planning to start getting parts in December/January. Also, APU is better, and then buy a dedicated GPU, or is it better to buy normal CPU with GPU?

APU+GPU(that isn't a 7750)≠Good deal. You are better off with an FM2/FM2+ Athlon. I would save a little more. Prices can change in two months. Two months is a long time in PC world. We are expecting DDR4 and Maxwell by then. Come back to this section within 2-3 days of purchase with a set budget. That will be better to do.

Nice option also, don't really like the GPU there, if I WOULD get one, probably would save up for a 650ti boost or something like that from AMD, but one thing, I almost forgot that there are these wonderful ssd caches, need to get one for my main system too :D

What an expensive case for a budget build...

Plan later. That's a while form now. Plan 2-3 days at most before you buy. Parts and prices change frequently.

Cpu + gpu is usually better. It really depends on the situation.
