Define R4 - Black & White & Red

Hi, I just upgraded my case and cooler to a Define R4 and a H100i. Still have a few things to fix and waiting for sleeved cable extensions as well as white LEDs but it already looks really sexy so i decided to share my build with you :D

AMD FX 8150 @ 4.7GHz (for now) :D

Corsair H100i

8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866MHz

XFX HD 7950 Black Double D Edition (1200/1750)

Asus Xonar DX Sound Card

Asus Crosshair V Formula - Z

Cooler Master GX550W

Samsung 840 Pro 128GB

Seagate Barracuda 2TB

Fractal Design Define R4 (Windowed)

Random optical drive

Small update, the GPU now has a carbon fibre back-plate and the sound card now has a shroud (not fully finished yet). I also fixed a couple of other small imperfections.

What is the material on the side of your power supply and graphics card?

Hi, Thanks :D It is white carbon fiber vinyl on the graphics card, There is also black carbon fiber and brushed aluminium vinyl in places... And it's not nearly as clean as I want it to be yet :P

(You can buy the vinyls on eBay for example)

How did you paint the side of your graphics card?

I think that is not painted. I have seen some stickers (thin plastic sheet with sticky side :) ) with texture like that.

Ooh. Does vinyl stick to any surface? Or just metallic?

It seems to stick to anything, however the more expensive the vinyl the better it seems to stick to things like cables and well... basically the better it seems to stick to round objects

looks like he just has the heatspreader off one of the dimms for some reason.

Yes both of the sticks are the same but I had a large air cooler before and had to take off the heat spreader for it to fit, now I left it off because I'm going to possibly put some whote carbon fiber on that... and then do the same with the other stick depending on how it works out
