Hmm yeah maybe I'm being too picky about it.. thanks for you reply!

I'm very sure there's no input lag for me at least. Tested it in various titles.

Overwatch, Mass effect, CSGO. I personally feel no difference, equally responsive.

Play with 3 144Hz monitors, so I'm a picky guy as well. :)

Hey,

Just picked myself up the XB271HU Acer Predator monitor - (IPS, 144hz, gsync, 1440p).

Just wondering what type of screen mode I should play in for games?

I only have a single monitor set up so I've always loved windows borderless - however I've recently seen information that the input lag is substantially higher playing this way?

I mainly play CSGO and other competitive games at a high level (supreme rank for example).. so input lag is something that worries me as such.

Should I continue to play borderless windowed or convert over to true full screen?

Appreciate the help!

I mean you can always play some casual games and feel if you get input lag?

I play on Windowed Borderless on all titles, fps and all that. No input lag for at all.

You should be fine but it never hurts to test it!

I can't give any clear answer on the reason why but true fullscreen does perform better in terms of fps on my system from time till time.
In this case (without running vsync obv) I assume better performance = lower input lag although at these speeds it should be hard to notice at all
