well its gonna have to be used, 3770k would be the best fit

Welcome to the forums!

 

LGA 1155 is old now, I'm afraid they're not manufactured anymore so buying a new one is almost impossible.

I can recommend either the i5 3570(k) or the i5 2500(k). You should be able to find these around the $100 mark USED. :)

You can't buy LGA 1155 CPU's brand-new anymore (unless it is OLD stock sitting in the back of a store).

Intel stopped making them years ago.

 

LGA 1155 first launched in Q1 2011 (Sandy Bridge), got revised in 2012 (Ivy Bridge), and became "End of Life" in 2013.

It is 2017 now...

I recommend checking Let Go and Offer Up.  That's where I sell used stuff.  They're more reliable (and organized) than Craigslist.  Of course if you want something right now and don't mind going over-budget, you can get an i7-3790k here.  I suggest offering $205.  If you want to bid (which I hate doing), here's one that ends in 6 hours.

 

Buying a used CPU is fine though.  Unless you just don't cool it (which isn't as big a risk now that thermal throttling is a thing) or you pump way too much voltage into it when overclocking, they last decades.
