possible psu problem :(

When I turn my pc on it instantly turns off then back on and boots up normally the delay isn't a big deal but I want to make sure its not gonna like blow up hahaha

This does indeed sound like a PSU problem and can develop further. I had the same problem a while back with an AX860i that eventually turned into a full on dead PSU. Nothing exploded though.

I have a gigabyte 970a-ud3 running an fx 8350 (no overclock) 1x8gb crucial balistix, a radeon 5870 sapphire (need an upgrade lol) a 1tb seagate hdd and the psu is a raidmax hybrid 730 watt it has blue leds as well

Does this happen everytime or just after cold boot? Like having PSU off the wall.

I have a gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and this is considered normal if you've changed any of the bios settings; at least for my board.  Could just be something the gigabyte ultra durable boards like doing.

My old Abit board did same thing after getting new PSU. Everytime after cold boot it powered up, then down and then normally. So nothing to worry about it there. I haven't used new board so long that I could remember it doing same.
