Hey! Very soon i'm looking to build a new beast rig and i need some feedback on what parts i should buy to get the most performance possible keeping the price below 3k. Monitors or Peripherals don't need to be included, for this rig i'm looking to stream, edit/render, and play games on 60fps 1080p. But i need your guys help to pick my parts! :D

Ok set one as the boot drive and the other 2 as a raid 0 partition to use as a scratch disk. (a fast but unreliable partition to keep all your files which you are editing right now .) and u also have a gtx 1080 here.

You might as well get a new monitor with that budget as your 1080p60hz will be your biggest bottleneck with a 3k build.

You don't need a $2.5K budget for a 1080p 60 FPS gaming / productivity build. Why not go for ~100 hz 1440p with that money?

Lol, 2x GTX 1080 Ti for a system with a 1080p 60 hz monitor. I like your thinking, but OP can't really make use of even just one 1080 Ti, if they're sticking to 1080p 60 FPS. I think they ought to get one 1080 Ti, and also get a 120 hz+ 1440p monitor.

OS, main programs and main game(s) is what I put on. Say you play 2-3 games ALOT like every day. That's still only about 120GB.

Gaining seconds on the boot is not worth knee capping the system due to his monitor. With a 1080 or 1080Ti he could have max performance now and later down the line if he gets a higher res monitor.
