Motherboard won't detect m.2 SSD

I have the MSI M7 gaming motherboard and a couple months ago I installed a M.2 Samsung 960 evo 500GB which I've installed windows 10 on and it's been working fine since then. However, I had to reset the bios settings after a failed overclock and now it doesn't recognise the SSD again. I've unplugged my other hard drive and older SSD and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Many bioses don't detect hardware on m.2 slots right away. You have to enable them from bios. It's usually connected with the fact that you can not run everything at the same time and you have to disable one thing in order to enable another.

I had an option of running 2 hdds more or one m.2

Not both at the same time. I hope this helps

I checked the bios and nothing. It's strange because I already have windows 10 installed on it and it's worked fine. Something stopped working when the bios settings reset to default. I'm clueless here.
