First Build

After some revisions to the intended use of my PC that I hope to build soon, I came up with this list. I intend to use this PC for mostly gaming. I'll have some various video editing in addition, but not much.

Let me know if I should change anything. I'm going for mostly 1080p gaming. I'm looking to spend somewhere in the $1,300 to $1,600 range. I already have a monitor, mouse, and keyboard that I use in addition to my gaming laptop.

Spend less on motherboard and ssd and get a 1080 or 1080ti. You don't need nvme.

The 7700k (unlocked for overclocking) is a waste with that motherboard. You need a board with a z270 or Z 170 chipset.

personally I would go for an air cooler in stead of a single fan water cooler. i would recommend looking at the be quiet dark rock (pro) 3

The link I saw had a B250 board. Maybe I am just too tired and need to go to sleep.

 

Edit: Nope, there was one there but has since been fixed. It was still open in another tab. I still hold by my previous statement regarding sleep.

How does this look? Added a compatible board for overclocking and swapped to the air cooler. First build, so for the most part, this is all new to me.

Different ssd, sandisk plua is bad. Get sk hynix sl308 instead
