Well for CSGO and DOTA2 1070 is super overkill.

I am not sure about the psu quality either.

As for the AIO it will be compatible but people reporting about captain leaking/bursting water so i'ill find another AIO or just use Cryorig h7 it has a black plate and white fans..

For the psu get one from tier 3 above on this list.

Behold the power of Chuck Norris the forbidden one.

Then go with Ryzen 7 1700 with B350 or X370(only for sli and more lanes) as for those games Ryzen should be more than enough(7700k is better in gaming but for light gaming especially those games not a big difference even if it is then only small diff). But a huge diff in photo and video editing.

What apps do you use for photo and video editing and how often do you use them? Ryzen may or may not be worth it for you.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

The S340 Elite has a psu shroud so you can use any psu without interfering with the color scheme. Consider getting a better psu.

A budget and pcpartpicker permalink to the build would help.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I am also considering a black and white build and thinking of playing 1080p60fps on ultra on all games + doing some work like running several VMs etc.

I see your budget may be higher, but you might take a look at what I'm planning at the moment here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Verrm/saved/7F9LkL

If you are planning to play on 1080p monitor then I think that a 7700k+gf 1070 is unnecessarily too much. With my build I think you'll also achieve solid frames and good future proofing but for less $$. And you'll get a better PC for your photo and video editing.

Edit: I am also afraid of this AIO a bit, I think I'll get an air cooler.

Please explain what you really mean about benefits or demerits of amd cpu with software????

CZ I am also going to build one like it at this budget and will do the same thing. And I was thinking of Ryzen 7 1700

Some apps like photoshop are more single threaded, and so a 7700k would be more worth it for those. However, in multi threaded apps like premier or sony vegas, ryzen would be better.
