My new gaming/editing build!! But how is it??

I need an new pc, my current laptop is in last stage of cancer. I'm building a new one in a month.

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700

CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken X62

RAM: Gskill tridentz 2x16 GB

Motherboard: Asus ROG Crosshair vi hero

SSD: Samsung 960 evo 256 GB

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3 TB

GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 ti FTW3

PSU: EVGA 850w G3 80+ Gold

Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400STG

Monitor: Asus PB278Q (2560x1440)

Keyboard: Corsair Strafe RGB

Mouse: Corsair Sabre RGB

Should I make any changes. I doubt on ram. Will it run on its rated 3200 MHz speed on 2x16 GB kit. Which I'm planning to upgrade to 64 GB. 850w PSU because planning to get another 1080 ti.

Looks great! (A bit overkill but that's fine)

Keep in mind that Intel CPUs have slightly better gaming performance than Ryzen CPUs. Also, aftermarket CPU cooler is not necessary for the 1700 but it's nice to have (RGB is nice with the NZXT Kraken X62 too!)

That depends on what and how much he is editing.

If you have the extra money I would change the case to Enthoo Evolv Tempered Glass.

Change the Keyboard to Corsair k70 or k65 (I suggest rapidfire series)

Overall well researched build.

Bah, I can't spend  more on case. Otherwise I'll have to downgrade to 1080 from 1080 ti which o don't want

I'm doing 3d rendering and programming also, the ryzen is definitely the better option.

That's because it has am3 mount support for coolers. I think the retention mount is a bit sketchy. In my country gigabyte aorus x370 gaming k5 and Crosshair 6 hero cost the same. There are no asrock boards available in my country. Crosshair 6 hero has the best bios currently.
